So You Want to Transfer?

All those students planning on transferring to a four year school next fall: Make sure all of your information has been sent to the transfer school! Many deadlines have already past but others will be coming up very soon.

Many students come out of high school expecting college will be exciting and easily handled. Many have no idea what they want to do ... except go to college.


Knowing what you want is important. You need to pick a direction. You need to know that your path is achievable. Planning that path is vital.


Transferring to a four year school is a process not just an event. Talk to a counselor as you plan your future.

Randolph College On-Site Admissions


As part of Randolph College’s continued commitment to educating the best and the brightest students in the Central Virginia community, we have strengthened our financial support for local transfer students.   Through a combination of merit scholarships, state grants, and need-based financial aid, the average tuition cost at Randolph College for admitted transfer students living in the Central Virginia area will be $9,500 per year for Fall 2013.

Lisa Davis will be on the CVCC – Main Campus for an On-Site Admissions event Monday, March 11, 2013 from 11:00AM to 1:00PM and again from 5:00PM to 7:00PM. 

Randolph College On-Site Admissions Requirements:

Students who meet all of the following criteria will be instantly admitted for Fall 2013

·         Completed Application – Either paper application or application online and printed for me to review.  Both applications can be found here http://www.randolphcollege.edu/x194.xml.

·         All official college transcripts demonstrating a college GPA of 2.7 or higher. 

·         Essay or a graded written assignment of at least 500 words demonstrating quality writing with minimal grammatical errors.
