So You Want to Transfer?

All those students planning on transferring to a four year school next fall: Make sure all of your information has been sent to the transfer school! Many deadlines have already past but others will be coming up very soon.

Many students come out of high school expecting college will be exciting and easily handled. Many have no idea what they want to do ... except go to college.


Knowing what you want is important. You need to pick a direction. You need to know that your path is achievable. Planning that path is vital.


Transferring to a four year school is a process not just an event. Talk to a counselor as you plan your future.

LC Invites Community College Students Eligible for Veterans Benefits

Join us Wednesday, July 10 for a special presentation for Veterans and their family members.


The Post 9/11 G.I. Bill and Yellow Ribbon program offers Veterans or family members the opportunity to attend Lynchburg College tuition-free.
  • Get an overview of undergraduate programs and the transfer admission process
  • Take an optional campus tour
  • Speak with current students
  • Meet with staff who support students using Veteran's benefits

Join us for Transfer Week June 24-28!

You will have the opportunity to tour our beautiful, historic campus located in Lynchburg, VA, and chat with our transfer counselor and a financial aid counselor. The $35 application fee is waived during Transfer Week.
