VT OPEN HOUSE ~ AUGUST 1st

We want you to come and see that Virginia Tech is dedicated to providing transfer students with a quality education that builds upon prior academic experience, rather than duplicating it. We have organized a Transfer Visit Day during the month of August.

Please note that this event has been structured specifically for students who have already graduated from high school and are currently enrolled in college full-time. If you currently are a high school student who is taking dual enrollment classes, you may wish to attend our Fall Open House instead, an event designed specifically for high school students who intend to enroll at Virginia Tech in Fall 2012 or 2013. Participation is free. In order to participate you will need to:
1.Register online ~ http://www.admiss.vt.edu/openhouse/index.php
2.Arrive at the Visitor and Undergraduate Admissions Center early so you can obtain a free parking pass.

10:00 - 10:45 a.m. - Admissions Information Session
10:45 - 11:15 a.m. - Transfer Experience by CAEE
11:15 - 11:30 a.m. - Questions
11:30 - 12:30 p.m. - Campus Tour
12:30 - 1:15 p.m. - Lunch provided in D2. Guests of the registrant may purchase lunch for $9.15.
1:30 - 2:30 p.m. - Academic College Information Session (if provided)
2:30 - 5:00 p.m. - Open Advising in the Undergraduate Admissions Office (optional)
